BENGALURU: Chief Minister D K Shivakumar said a detailed investigation is underway into the Hanur shootout case and that the government would respond after the probe is completed.
Speaking to the media near his residence in Sadashivanagar on Wednesday, Shivakumar said the authorities were looking into the incident in detail.
Asked about the suspected use of gelatin to blow up anti-poaching camps and whether the incident could have been carried out by a gang of thieves from Tamil Nadu, Shivakumar said he had also received some information in this regard. He said the Forest Minister was overseeing the investigation and that he would not comment on the matter at this stage. “We will provide information after the report is submitted,” he said.
