The shooting of filmmaker Sooraj R. Barjatya‘s upcoming film Yeh Prem Mol Liya, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari in the lead roles, has officially wrapped up. The milestone was announced by veteran actor Anupam Kher, who shared behind-the-scenes pictures from the final day of filming on Instagram along with a heartfelt message reflecting on the journey of the film and his long association with Barjatya.
Sharing moments from the last day of the shoot, Anupam revealed that the film had completed production and looked back on his association with Barjatya, which began during the making of Saaransh (1984), where the filmmaker worked as an assistant director. Praising Barjatya’s growth as a storyteller, Anupam said he has consistently upheld the values of Indian families, relationships, compassion and honesty through his films, adding that his movies have become an integral part of audiences’ lives rather than merely serving as entertainment.
Calling Yeh Prem Mol Liya another memorable chapter in their long creative partnership, Anupam described the film as one filled with heart and grace. He said the story had deeply moved him from the very first narration and thanked Barjatya for giving him yet another unforgettable filmmaking experience.
Anupam and Barjatya have previously collaborated on several successful films, including Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994), Vivaah (2006), Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015) and Uunchai (2022).
Yeh Prem Mol Liya is being co-produced by Rajshri Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films. The film marks the first on-screen collaboration between Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari, while Himesh Reshammiya has composed its soundtrack. The film is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on November 27.
